LHS honored for fifth straight year.
Lake Hospital System was honored by Northeast Ohio's largest employer association, The Employers Resource Council, as one of Northcoast 99's "Best Places to Work in Northeast Ohio" for the fifth year in a row.
The Employers Resource Council recognized organizations in the 22-county Northeast Ohio region that have implemented programs that attract, retain, and create a high level of employee satisfaction. Companies were nominated by their employees and then were asked to complete a detailed description of their programs, policies, benefits, and what makes them unique from an employee attraction, retention, and satisfaction perspective. Nominated companies were evaluated against each other in different categories including: compensation and benefits, training and education, turnover, absenteeism, community service, workplace health and safety, employee communications and recruitment and retention.
"We are very excited to once again receive this award. As one of the largest employers in Lake County, we try to create a work environment that is responsive to our team members and allows them to nurture and develop their talents," said Cynthia Moore-Hardy, president and CEO of Lake Hospital System. "It's their dedication, knowledge, and commitment to providing extraordinary care that have been the driving force behind our success."
